PURPOSE:
To offer a safe place for people to come to find not just compassion, but information, resources, peer support and recovery that addresses issues related to our emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. Topics that might be of interest to you include understanding shame, healing shame within a family system, detachment as a spiritual practice and boundaries.
WHERE: Third Church, Richmond, Virginia
PRESENTERS:
Teresa is the Exec. Dir. of the National Association for Christian Recovery. She also co-pastors Northstar Community, a local recovery community in Richmond, VA.
Juanita is a therapist in private practice, an author and a poet.
Dale is an Associate Professor of Recovery Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary.
